Getting Your Piece of the Publishing Pie

No one has posted to our blog in awhile, but tonight I read a post from the IBPA blog titled What is an Independent Publisher? and it really dovetails with what we’re doing in St. Louis next month. It’s my motivation for sharing this great opportunity with you all. We have an event coming up here in St. Louis on November 13 that’s definitely worth your time. And we invite you to come share it with us!

The St. Louis Publishers Association has put together a day of learning designed to help you publish smarter and more profitably. We’re delighted to be hosting profitable publishing guru/financial expert Marion Gropen, web developer/social media pioneer Deltina Hay and ebook mastermind and CEO/founder of Smashwords.com, Mark Coker (plus more) for a day-long conference filled with practical, easy-to-implement information on how to do everything better.

St. Louis is in the heart of the midwest and pretty easy to get to from most places. The event is priced to be affordable and earlybird pricing is still available through next Monday, Oct. 25. Even the hotel has given us a great rate on guest rooms if you’re coming from out of town. (See the flyer for details.) We’ll share more news each day here on the blog, but we encourage you to mark it on your calendar today and go check out the info on our site. (You can download a PDF there with the full scoop.) We invite you to register and attend this one!  We’d love to welcome you!

The beauty of our SLPA events is that they’re large enough to be a great networking opportunity, yet small enough that you can make quality connections and get your questions answered in a laid-back atmosphere without spending a fortune. We thank IBPA for continuing to teach and inspire us and, as an affiliate of IBPA, we welcome all IBPA members at SLPA discounted rates. Hope you can join us!
